The Lakewood Waves is a parent run organization for swimmers age 4-18 with a focus on developing swimmers to reach a competitive level in a fun friendly environment. To join the team, swimmers need to swim the length of the pool unassisted (25 yards) during our tryouts on May 19th and 21st. This will determine what times of the week your practices will be. Practices will begin Tuesday, May26th. You will be notified via email about your practice times and days after the tryout dates.

Families do not need to be LPOA members to join our team.

Practices will begin May 26th and run through mid-July.

Absolute last day for payments will be June 1st, 2026 @ 11:59 pm!

Level 1 AM- 9-9:30 am

Level 2 AM- 9:30-10:15

Level 3 AM- 10:15-11am

Level 4 AM- 10:15-11am

Level 2 PM- 6:30-7:15pm

Level 3 PM- 6:30-7:15pm

All children between the ages 12 and 15 must have one of these forms submitted yearly to visit the pool without parental supervision. This form must be filled out EVERY year by the parent/guardian.

Pool Hours: pool-calendar

Guest Fee: $5 for guests over 3, each member is allowed one guest with a 3 guest max per family. Guests must leave when the member leaves.

Pool Rules:

1.  Members must always present their card to enter.

2.  No swimming unless lifeguards are on duty.

3.  No running, horseplay, bullying, or foul language permitted

4.  No gum, alcohol, tobacco, or glassware permitted.

5.  Eating and drinking are restricted to the concession area. No outside food or drink allowed at the pool.

6.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children ages 12-15 must have a pool minor release on file yearly to be dropped off at the pool.

7.  No flotation devices allowed in the deep end. Children must be able to swim across the deep end unassisted.

8.  All swimmers must clear the pool during pool break. Adults 18 or older may swim during pool break at their own risk.

9.  No swimming under diving boards or slide. Only one person is allowed on board or slide at a time. Persons waiting in line must remain on the pool deck. Make sure the area is clear before taking your turn. If you climb up the diving board ladders you must jump off.

10. No hanging on ropes, diving boards, or jumping off sideways.

11. No playing with hard objects or tennis balls. No toys in the deep end.

12. Ladders must be used to exit pool.
