"Let's get this party started and feel great about ourselves"
I attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Major in Business and a Minor in Art. I also participated in their Track & Field as an athlete. My passion then was to run track. Through my child hood I played a varied of sports: softball, gymnastics, tennis, basketball. I received Athlete of the year several years in middle -high school and got the honor of being the only girl on the boys track team.
While I was in college I taught gymnastics at YMCA for young boys and girls and overlooked there training area. Then I took an exciting job in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic and enjoyed it immensely. Although I started with an interest in physical therapy for the handicap I soon realized I would get as much satisfaction working with people to improve physical health and prevent injury rather than rehabilitating them after the fact. Being an athlete I've always loved working out, now as I've gotten older I'm lucky to get to experience hiking and biking all around the world. One of the things I love most about working in this field is experiencing the life changing effects exercise has people both physically and mentally. I am nationally certified though Cooper Institute and NFPT National Federation of Professional Trainer for Personal Training, and IYCA International Youth Conditioning Assoc., Nutrition course through Cooper, Spinning and an Aerobic Instructor for; Kickboxing, Swiss ball, Golf conditioning, and Boot camp. I'm also CPR and AED Certified.
My primary goal in personal training is to inspire others to have a love for their workouts by making fitness fun, and exercise a part of their lifestyle.
