LAKE #3 REQUESTS

Lake #3 is a very busy place this time of year. with that in mind, we have a few requests. All walkers and runners that bring your vehicle to 4500 Lakeshore. Please park at the south eand of the parking lot. We want to save the parking spaces closest to the gate for the fans attending our soccer, softball and baseball games. Please drive at ta very slow speed inside the gate area as children have a tendency to dart out from between vehicles. Another reminder is to please tidy up after your dog.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!!!

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

...Fisherman, please remember to pick up all fishing line. The ducks are getting tangled up in line that's left on the bank.
...All boaters, please remember trolling-speedonly on lake #2. Thanks!

RAINY SOCCER SEASON

This spring soccer season we had a record number of players. However, with all the rain, rain and more rain this has been our most challenging season yet. All the coaches have worked hard to reschedule and then reschedule again. Parents have been understanding and together we will be able to complete the season. The recreational season officially ends with the Kohl's cup to be held at Burns Park in North Little Rock, Many thanks to those who volunteered their time to help make our soccer season run smoothly.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME

Baseball is off to a rainy start this season. We have 553 players that registered this year. There are 17 t-ball teams, 10 Pitching machine teams, 7 teams for the 91-0's, 7 teams for the 11-12's and 6 Babe Ruth teams. The season opened on the 14th of April. Randy Sandefur will once again manage the Park for the baseball season.

Softball is also up and running with games that started on the 17th of April. This year we have a total of 6 softball teams with all the softball games being played at the lake field. This provides entertainment for the walkers and runners. Make plans to come out and see some of the games this spring, as it should be a Great Season.

SUMMER CELEBRATION

Mark your calendars now for LPOA's Annual Picnic. This year the picnic will be held Saturday, June 21st. Food will be served starting at 6:30 pm. Elvis and Patsy will once again provide entertainment and the event will culminate with our wonderful fireworks show. This is a great chance to spend time with neighbors and meet new members of the community. We hope to see you there.
